TDO Completes Training in Nertiti and Expands Initiative to Guldo
From January 15–19, 2025, the Trust Rehabilitation and Development Organization (TDO) successfully conducted a five-day training program for Mother’s Support Groups (MSGs) in Nertiti Town, West Jabal Marra Locality. This initiative focused on equipping caregivers with the knowledge and tools to address malnutrition through Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices.
The Nertiti sessions were marked by active participation and impactful learning, enabling local caregivers to take actionable steps toward improving child health and nutrition outcomes. As TDO concluded this phase of the project, plans are already in place to replicate the program in Guldo, where training will commence tomorrow.
This expansion demonstrates TDO’s dedication to empowering communities across West Jabal Marra with sustainable solutions for tackling malnutrition and promoting healthier living.
